Luna Brown, DOTW for 4/22-4/26!

Luna Brown is the DOTW for the week of 4/22-4/26! Luna is a 2.5 year old black and tan hound mix who's been coming to Dog Days since early 2011. Luna (or Tuna, or Lunatic, as we sometimes call her) is one of those dogs that comes into the play area and races around for about 20 minutes in big loopy circles. She doesn't even need another dog to entertain her - she just runs. Once she's gotten that out of her system, she settles down and plays. Her favorites are anyone who will play with her, but she particularly likes Riley B. Luna is nothing if not entertaining and is a bit of a clown. We always enjoy having her when she visits with us, and are happy to make her the DOTW this week. Congratulations, Luna!

Sandy Chinn, DOTW for 4/15-4/19!

Sandy Chinn is the DOTW for the week of 4/15-4/19! Sandy is a 12 year old Australian Terrier. Sandy started visiting us at Dog Days in mid-2006 with her brother, Max. Max has since passed away, but we still get to see Sandy occasionally. Sandy is very spunky for her age - she used to play play play, especially with Max. Now she's more likely to just hang out and watch the antics of the younger crowd. She loves her people attention too, and is always happy to sit next to us and get belly rubs. Sandy's one of those dogs who fits seamlessly into the crowd, no matter how big or how small. We always enjoy our time with Sandy, and are happy to make her the DOTW this week!

Mina Battani, DOTW for 4/8-4/12!

Mina Battani is the DOTW for the week of 4/8-4/12! Mina is a 6 year old Lab and possibly Great Dane mix who's been coming to Dog Days since early 2009. Mina is a shy girl, and not a fan of the camera, so getting some good pics of her is a bit tricky. Every once in a while, she surprises us though, gets a wild hair, and plays with some of the other dogs. She really prefers her people, but especially her women (she's a bit more timid around men). She's a gentle soul, and loves her attention - she kinda slinks up to you and just hangs out til you notice her. :) We love Mina's sweetness and predictability, and she always gets along with all of the dogs in the play area. Congratulations, Mina, we love you sweetie!

Gibbs Foresha, DOTW for 4/1-4/5!

Gibbs Foresha is the DOTW for the week of 4/1-4/5! Gibbs is a 4 year old pug who's been coming to Dog Days (with his sister, Tess) since mid-2009, when he was a puppy. Gibbs is pretty laid back like most of the pugs we get here, but definitely gets a wild hair on occasion. It's kind of funny, when he does play, he tends to play more like a border collie (which is what Tess is) - there is usually some chasing and nipping at legs. That's unusual to see in a pug. :) When he plays with the little dogs, he really likes Bowzer and Ubu. We are always happy when Gibbs (and Tess) come visit with us, and are happy to make him the DOTW this week. Congratulations, Gibbs!
