Cooper Barr, DOTW for 9/12 - 9/16!

Cooper Barr is the DOTW for the week of 9/12 - 9/16! Cooper is a 5 year old Labradoodle (a small one) who has grown up here at Dog Days. He's been playing with us since February 2007, when he was about 7 months old. Cooper was pretty timid and fearful when he first started visiting with us, but quickly blossomed into a sweet, energetic dog once he gained some confidence. He loves playing ball and has lots of friends, in both the small and the large dog play areas (he's one of those dogs whose size and energy level allows him to move back and forth). He always has kisses for Emma (although I'm not sure she appreciates them!) and loves playing with his sister, Bailey. We all have a special place in our heart for Cooper, and give him lots of special attention when he's here. We love you, Cooper!

Chudley Wagoner is DOTW for 9/5 - 9/8!

Chudley Wagoner is the DOTW for the week of 9/5 - 9/8! Chudley is a 6 year old hound mix who's been a fixture at Dog Days since 2006. Chudley (or Chuddles as we sometimes call him) has two speeds: 100% racing in big loopy circles around the play area, or 0% asleep in a corner or on a lap. He has lots of friends, although most of them are girls (like Emma Y.). He also loves his people alot. He's always happy to do what you ask him to, and he's a pretty good temperament tester, because he's a middle of the road kind of dog. We always enjoy having our Chudley visit with us. Woo woo Chudley, congratulations!

Charcoal Morris, DOTW for 8/25 - 9/2!

Charcoal Morris is the DOTW for the week of 8/25 - 9/2! Charcoal is a 6 year old mix (maybe shepherd?) who's been coming to Dog Days since 2007. Charcoal is one of the sweetest small dogs we have - she's such a gentle soul, and there's not a mean bone in her body. She loves her people the best, but we discovered she's pretty fond of Maxwell R. too. :) She usually has quite a smile on her face when she's visiting with us. We love spoiling our Charcoal, and are so happy her parents bring her to us when they go on vacation. Congratulations, Charcoal!

Gracie Carroll, DOTW for 8/22 - 8/26!

Gracie Carroll is the DOTW for the week of 8/22 - 8/26! Gracie is a 3 year old Golden Retriever. Gracie's been coming to Dog Days since she was 6 months old, so, like so many of our other clients, she's actually grown up here. Gracie will play with almost anyone, but really likes Charlie, Big Black, and Chloe W. She's also pretty fond of the ball, and when I say "fond" I mean she's a bit ball crazy. Gracie always comes in with lots of energy and is always willing to play, but also really likes her people - she gives good hugs, when she'll settle down enough! Congratulations, Gracie - it's well-deserved!

Tommy Zuckerman, DOTW for 8/15 - 8/19!

Tommy Zuckerman is the DOTW for the week of 8/15 - 8/19! Tommy is a 4 year old terrier mix who's been coming to Dog Days since mid-2008. Tommy's pretty much grown up here, and matured into a happy, bouncy young man. Tommy's best friends at Dog Days are Milo H. and Brutus. He really loves to snuggle with his people too, and is often looking for a lap to sneak into. Like alot of terriers, he's a pretty energetic fellow, and is always busy busy busy. He gets to do a lot of small dog interviews here, because he doesn't overwhelm new dogs, but he's friendly enough that he'll always come up to say hi. We love our little Tommy. Yea for Tommy!

Magic Johnson, DOTW for 8/8 - 8/12!

Magic Johnson is the DOTW for the week of 8/8 - 8/12! Magic is an 11 year-old Lab who's been coming to Dog Days since the summer of 2006. Magic is one of the sweetest Labs we have (that's how all of our old lady Labs are!). Magic only recently started acting her age - before, she would get really excited both when she arrived and when she left, and would spin in crazy circles and jump. She doesn't really do that anymore, but still has a smile on her face both coming and going. She likes all of the dogs  but probably prefers Chloe S. over the others. But she really likes her people most, and is always looking for (and usually getting) a massage and a good scratch behind her ears. Magic brings magic to our days here at Dog Days, and she deserves to be DOTW this week. Congratulations, Magic!

Arie and Brammetje Koster-Gommers, DOTW for 8/1 - 8/5!

Arie and Brammetje Koster-Gommers are the DOTW for the week of 8/1 - 8/5! Arie and Brammetje are both approximately 3 year-old Brussels Griffons. Arie is a Petit Brabancon (he looks a little like a pug mix), while Brammetje is a Brussels Griffon. The boys are fairly new to Dog Days, but we've seen a lot of them this summer, so we've gotten to know them well. Arie is a bit of a flirt, and loves everybody and everything equally and shows it by licking them - all of them, dogs, people, you name it. Brammetje is a little more shy, but once he likes you, he really likes you. He turns his body into a semi-circle and wiggles so much that it almost looks like he's having a spasm of some sort. And he smiles while he's doing it. It's very entertaining. They get along with all of the small dogs, and love human attention. We really enjoy having them here. Yea for Arie and Brammetje!
