B.B. Socks Blakely, DOTW for 7/23-7/27!

B.B. Socks Blakely is the DOTW for the week of 7/23-7/27! B.B. Socks (or just B.B.) is a 4 year old Sheltie who's been coming to Dog Days for daycare since early 2010. B.B. is tiny - she's the smallest Sheltie we've seen. Like most Shelties, she can be a little quirky, but she's quite social and plays with a few of the other small dogs when she's in the mood. She's very sweet and asks for human attention often (and always gets what she asks for). And oddly, she's not a barker, like some other Shelties we've had visit with us. We always enjoy seeing B.B. on her visits to Dog Days, and are happy to make her the DOTW! Congratulations, little lady!

Maxwell Knowlton, DOTW for 7/16-7/20!

Maxwell Knowlton is the DOTW for the week of 7/16-7/20! Maxwell is a 2 year old boxer/pit mix who's been coming to Dog Days since mid-2011. Maxwell quickly endeared himself to us - he's a playful, happy boy who loves people and dogs equally. He will play with almost anyone who will play with him, but particularly likes Peyton, Riley B. and Penny. He also loves to snuggle and get human attention, so we tend to let him play, play, play, and then shower him with affection when he's ready for a break in the action. Maxwell, we love you buddy! Congratulations!

Fred Meade, DOTW for 7/9-7/13!

Fred Meade is the DOTW for the week of 7/9-7/13! Fred is a 9.5 year old Sheltie (or perhaps Collie) mix. Fred has been coming to daycare with his brother Teddy since January 2010 (when his parents brought him home as a companion for Teddy). Fred plays in our small dog area with his brother, but he's a pretty good-sized boy. He's very laid back, and mainly just hangs out. Fred has a habit of sneaking up next to you, and when you turn to look at him, his long pointy nose is RIGHT THERE, an inch from your face. He will just stare at you, until you pet him. Works every time. :) We always enjoy having Fred (and Teddy) come visit with us. Congratulations Fred!

Winston Walters, DOTW for 7/2-7/6!

Winston Walters is the DOTW for the week of 7/2-7/6! Winston is a 12 year old mix - we don't really know what kind of mix, but he looks like a big dark gray schnauzer-y kind of dog. Winston has been coming to Dog Days since late 2005, so he knows us well. He's an old man now, but still enjoys socializing in the play area. He now comes with his little sister Poppy in tow (Winston, you've got some work to do there!). Winston has always been one of our favorites here - he's just a big gentle giant of a dog who loves his people attention and just hanging out. We love having Winston visit with us, and are so happy his parents trust us to take care of him. He has a special place in our hearts. We love you Winston, congrats!
